More important items might have a larger possible score. Some items might be pass/fail with a small possible score. You don't have to use the same scoring template for all items in an inspection. The screenshot below shows a common use case - a 10-point scoring template that is more granular than the Clean Smarts three-level default:

Please see the related help article on how to set up and assign custom scoring templates to tasks. You can create your own scoring weights and values if you don't like the Clean Smarts defaults. So the final score would be 16 out of 20 or 80 percent. It is not 25 because the item marked as "N/A" does not add to the denominator. The total score for the inspection in this case is 5+5+5+1 or 16. One of the items is "Below Expectations". Three of the items are "Exceeds Expectations". Imagine you have five tasks in your inspection.
